Then read on. This <em>atta<\/em> biscuit without baking soda is a personal favourite. In fact, this homemade <em>atta<\/em> biscuits recipe is my first choice when I want to relish the flavours of homemade biscuits. Crisp and very, very tasty, these are not only 100% <em>atta<\/em> cookies, they&#8217;re also eggless and need very few ingredients. They don&#8217;t even need any baking powder or baking soda.<\/p>\n<p>Take my advice, and do try out these simple-to-make, super-tasty homemade <em>atta<\/em> (or whole wheat flour) biscuits. Who knows? Do check it out.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/2CHmrJ0zgao\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>1 \u00bd cup (180-190 g) <em>atta<\/em> \/ whole wheat flour<\/p>\n<p>\u00bd cup + 1 \u00bd tbsp salted butter (130 g)<\/p>\n<p>\u00bd cup +1 tbsp granulated sugar (120 g), powdered finely<\/p>\n<p>OR \u00bd cup +1 tbsp fine castor sugar (120 g)<\/p>\n<p>OR 1 tbsp less than 1 cup powdered\/icing sugar (120 g)<\/p>\n<p>\u00bd tsp ground cardamom<\/p>\n<p>2 tbsp milk + more if necessary<\/p>\n<p><em>Will make 34 small or 22 medium-size atta biscuits.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-451\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/veenapatwardhan.com\/pat-a-cake\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Homemade-atta-biscuits-recipe.jpg?resize=500%2C400&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"homemade atta biscuits recipe\" width=\"500\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/veenapatwardhan.com\/pat-a-cake\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Homemade-atta-biscuits-recipe.jpg?w=500&amp;ssl=1 500w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/veenapatwardhan.com\/pat-a-cake\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/Homemade-atta-biscuits-recipe.jpg?resize=300%2C240&amp;ssl=1 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Procedure<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h3><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Sift the <em>atta<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li>In a bowl, whisk the butter and sugar for 3-4 minutes till light and creamy. (Please note the difference in volume of sugar before powdering and of powdered sugar.)<\/li>\n<li>Stir in the ground cardamom.<\/li>\n<li>Mix in half of the <em>atta <\/em>and then mix in the rest.<\/li>\n<li>Add the milk, one tablespoon at a time till the dough just comes together. You may or may not need more than 2 tbsp.<\/li>\n<li>Next, gather the dough into a ball. Shape it into a cylindrical log, if you want the biscuits\/cookies to be round-shaped or a rectangular log, if you want square-shaped ones.<\/li>\n<li>Wrap the log of dough in parchment paper or cling film and keep it in the freezer for 30 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Unwrap it, and cut it into \u00bc&#8221; thick slices.<\/li>\n<li>Transfer these to a parchment paper-lined baking tray and bake the biscuits at 160 C (325 F) for around 22 to 25 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0Allow the homemade <em>atta <\/em>biscuits to cool on a wire rack and then store them in an airtight container.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Enjoy!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Homemade Atta Biscuits Recipe Want to learn how to make atta biscuits at home?
