Then do check out my easy recipe for soft and delicious Wheat Flour and Jaggery Cake. It&#8217;s made with just a handful of simple ingredients, can be whipped up in minutes, and is so easy to make. When you taste this cake, you&#8217;ll be amazed that a cake made without maida, egg, butter, or sugar could be this tasty.<\/p>\n<p>Another easy and delicious cake I suggest you make, especially now that we&#8217;re in the mango season, is my tasty <a href=\"https:\/\/veenapatwardhan.com\/pat-a-cake\/2021\/05\/22\/delicioussujimangocake\/\">mango semolina cake<\/a>. It&#8217;s an eggless cake. So do check these out as well.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/46XBIMdkyys?si=sATTFhZ5AtLrQkGp\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>\u00be cup (140g) jaggery powder \/ grated jaggery<\/p>\n<p>\u2153 cup (5 \u00bd tbsp) yogurt<\/p>\n<p>\u00bd cup milk<\/p>\n<p>1 \u00bc cup (160g) whole wheat flour<\/p>\n<p>1 tsp baking powder<\/p>\n<p>\u00bc tsp baking soda<\/p>\n<p>\u2153 cup (5 \u00bd tbsp) oil<\/p>\n<p>\u00bd tsp vanilla extract<\/p>\n<p>2 tbsp water<\/p>\n<p>\u00bc cup chopped nuts (cashew nuts, almonds)<\/p>\n<p>1 tbsp raisins (optional)<\/p>\n<p>Bake in 7&#8243; round pan for 35 \u2013 40 minutes at 180 C.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1183\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/veenapatwardhan.com\/pat-a-cake\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Eggless-Wheat-Jaggery-Cake.jpg?resize=500%2C400&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Eggless Wheat Jaggery Cake\" width=\"500\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/veenapatwardhan.com\/pat-a-cake\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Eggless-Wheat-Jaggery-Cake.jpg?w=500&amp;ssl=1 500w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/veenapatwardhan.com\/pat-a-cake\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/04\/Eggless-Wheat-Jaggery-Cake.jpg?resize=300%2C240&amp;ssl=1 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Procedure<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Prepare the baking pan. Grease and dust a 7-inch round baking pan with atta or whole wheat flour, lining just the bottom with parchment paper.<\/li>\n<li>Whisk the yogurt in a bowl. Add in the jaggery and whisk again. Add the milk. Whisk till almost all the jaggery dissolves. Set aside.<\/li>\n<li>Sift the wheat flour twice along with the baking powder and baking soda.<\/li>\n<li>Whisk the jaggery mix again. Add in the oil, and the vanilla extract.<\/li>\n<li>Fold in the flour mix.<\/li>\n<li>Adjust the batter consistency with a little water or milk. It should have a ribbon consistency.<\/li>\n<li>Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Tap the pan on the work surface to remove air bubbles.<\/li>\n<li>Sprinkle the nuts and raisins across the top of the batter.<\/li>\n<li>Bake the cake either on the stove top in a kadai on low heat or in an oven at 180C for around 40 minutes or till a skwer inserted into the cake comes out clean.<\/li>\n<li>Place the pan on a cooling rack and let the cake cool a little in the pan for around 15 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Remove the cake from the pan.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Enjoy!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Eggless Whole Wheat Jaggery Cake Ever wanted to make a cake with whole wheat flour?
